She received her PhD from the University of Salzburg (Dr. iur.) in 2004 and obtained a postgraduate degree (LL.M.) from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento in 2003. She is admitted as a lawyer in Vienna since 2007 as well as attorney at law in New York since 2004.
